X-Files Universe turns two years old this month!

At a time when FOX seems to wonder if there is a fanbase big enough to support a movie, XFiles Universe shows that the fanbase is strong.  The site has 450+ members from all over the world, and averages hundreds of guests each day.  This March, over 200 XFU members and guests were gathered on the site at one time.  Forum members range from long-time fans to those who discovered the series through online viewing from sites such as Netflix.  Indeed, the site regularly sees members who are seeing the show for the first time and are seeking input on the mythology or to indulge in their newfound obsession for the show.

XFU has participated in charitable events, hosted a weekly ReWatch party that met in the chatroom to watch all of XFiles in sequence, and hosted two fanfic competitions and one fan video competition.

There are almost 2,000 topics on the site.  Members can post to a growing wiki of archival material, contribute discussion on episodes, add to the fanbase of the stars, play games, or post to non-XFiles related content.
