Robert Patrick stars in “Good Day for It,” a drama also featuring Millennium star Lance Henriksen.  The premiere tickets are $40 for the movie, the party afterwards, and a Q&A session with Robert Patrick and Director Nick Stagliano.  The movie premieres at the Newport Beach Film Festival on Saturday, April 30.

XFiles’ Robert Patrick portrays Luke Cain, a father who stole money from a gang  in order to pay for his daughter’s heart surgery, then ran.  Now he’s back, and he’s been spotted.  The movie also features Hal Holbrook and Robert Englund.

Check out details for the premiere and a movie trailer here.

Any Human Heart has saw nominations for Lead Actor (Jim Broadben) and for best drama.

Congratulations!

If you have not yet bought your ticket for the LAX-Files book signing, this is the perfect time to do it!  More guests have been confirmed for the event: Morgan, Morgan and Wong!  Yes, Darin Morgan, Glen Morgan, and James Wong have committed to attend this fundraiser for the American Cancer Society.

Darin Morgan is a fan favorite among X-Files fans for his guest appearance as Eddie Van Blundht (the “h” is silent), and as the ever popular Fluke Man.  He also wrote some of the best episodes in the entirety of X-Files: Humbug, Jose Chung’s From Outer Space, War of the Copraphages, and Clyde Bruckman’s Final Repose (which is considered by many to be the ultimate X-Files episode).

James Wong and Glen Morgan are co-creators of some of the greatest villains brought to our screens: Tooms, the Peacock Brothers, and Luther Lee Boggs.

For a mere $77, those attending the LAX-Files book signing will see Chris Carter, Mitch Pileggi, R.W. Goodwin, Sheila Larkin, Jeff Gulka, and now Darin Morgan, Glen Morgan, and James Wong.  Tickets are still available by going to lax-files.com and paying via paypal.

And who knows, maybe we will hear news of X-Files 3 at the event!

X-Files fans want to know, where is the greenlight for X-Files 3?  The time is NOW for a commitment to be made by FOX!   Hopefully Chris Carter will have some news for us at the LAX-Files book signing next month.  Until then, XFiles Universe will spotlight XFiles 3 fan-made videos.

The first feature is from JoJo Kersina, a truly talented videographer, and presents a view of X-Files 3 that is chilling. Mulder & Scully must find a kidnapped William, who has been trained as a super soldier.

Red Faction will premiere June 4th on SyFy at 9pm Eastern!  Fans of Robert Patrick – mark your calendars and set your DVR!

Robert Patrick, as announced earlier on XFiles Universe, will star as “Alec Mason.”  The plot will follow Mason’s son twenty five years after Patrick’s character led the victory that brought freedom to the Martian Colonies and twelve years after Mason’s wife was murdered and his daughter was kidnapped by enemies.  Mason’s son learns that his sister is alive but brainwashed into believing the Red Faction must be destroyed.

Annabeth Gish will make an appearance on the popular “Pretty Little Liars” next season.  Well-known for her portrayal of Monica Reyes on The X-Files, Gish will portray a therapist named Anne Sullivan.  Naturally, she will be counseling the “liars.”

Fans can also catch Gish in a movie recently released to Netflix.  At Risk, a Lifetime movie, stars Andie McDowell and also features Gish.

GillianAnderson.ws is reporting that James Marsh has joined the cast of a movie about the IRA, in which The X-Files’ Gillian Anderson is set to appear. James Marsh will direct, and Clive Owen will star alongside Andrea Riseborough.   Gillian Anderson and Aiden Gillen have supporting roles.

“The film, a thriller, will be centered around the peace process in Northern Ireland in the nineties and will shoot in Dublin in early May,” states the announcement.

Mitch Pileggi turns 59 today!  Mitch, we wish you a fun-filled birthday.
Pileggi is a prolific actor, guest-starring in a plethora of roles.  In the last year alone, he has guest-starred in numerous roles: Medium (the last season is coming to video on June 21), Supernatural (which saw the demise of Grandpa Samuel this month, portrayed by Pileggi), Human Target, Grey’s Anatomy, Sons of Anarchy, and Castle.

Of course X-Files fans remember his gritty portrayal of Walter Skinner, Mulder and Scully’s tough-minded boss, with his tough body honed into perfection by the Marine Corp.  Semper fi! And Happy Birthday!
