Oh, my gosh, I am so glad that I'm not alone! That horrible, horrible sound still gives me the creeps as well. I don't think that I've watched that episode since it was on the first time, but I suppose that I will again, one day. *shiver*

The other thing that still gives me the creeps is the term, "girlie girl." I absolutely hate it. Rot in hell, Donnie Pfaster! You've scarred me for life!

You're right - both these memes somehow bury themselves into our subconscious, and give us chills years after first watching and hearing them. The actor Nick Chinlund was so perfect for Pfaster - I don't think anyone could have delivered the line "Girlie Girl" with the same eerie quality.

I don't know how 1013 Productions found so many actors who were exactly right for their characters: Tom Noonan as John Lee Roche; Nick Chinlund as Donnie Pfaster, and who could forget Brad Dourif as Luther Lee Boggs? That's just a few of the casting gems we had on, "The X Files." Another amazing achievement was finding such eerie child actors, such as Erika and Sabrina Krievins, who played the evil Eves, so-called, "little girls," and Jenny-Lynn Hutcheson as Polly Turner in, "Chinga." The brilliant casting is just yet another reason why we love, "The X Files" so much.

The brain is indeed amazing. I love how neurons and neural pathways are connected. You think of something, which causes you to think of a related item or memory, which causes you to think of something else related, and so on. Imagine how many connections there must be in a human brain for that to happen!

Thanks for bumping this puzzle up, Agent Skulder. I hope that you realise that this puzzle is open for anyone to answer, not just SA88. I think that he'd know who this person is, because he has used the character himself in a few other games in the past. That's actually a clue, by the way.

Dr. Chester Banton. Not Chester Bonaparte; he was the little scamp in, "Fresh Bones."

Yes, I just looked him up in one of my books. Dr. Chester Ray Banton was played by Tony Shalhoub in, "Soft Light."

So, in, "The X Files," we had three Melissa's, two Chester's, and a Dana, and at least one Diana! Oh, and loads of Williams! LOL

Carter seemed more interested in generating character names that followed a pattern understandable only to him - like the 2 Chester B.s - than in resolving plotholes....
