Thanks for the news! I love new posts by Gilly! That first paragraph of her message reminds me of myself! Also, the rambling... lol, I love it. Yeah, I can identify.

Anyways, before I digress (cause my ramblings aren't as sweet as Gillian's)... I also checked out the auction! Looks like some autographed items are out there reasonably priced! I am SOOO tempted to put a bid out on something, but I can't tell you what, so you guys don't bid me up higher! I just hope I can remember to check in a day or two...

For Fans in Australia

Come one, come all and help the Aussie X-Files Fans @ Facebook raise funds for their third annual charity fundraiser supporting Alinyiikira Junior School in Uganda.

We are hosting our own private screening of "The X-Files: Fight The Future" in our own cinema (which will have very limited seating) - we will be showing the extended bluray cut of the movie, which will include the exciting "alternate bee scene" - the movie hasn't been on in theatres since 1998, so we expect great interest from X-Files Fans!

The event starts at 1pm with Food and Drinks being able to be purchased in the bar before the main screening event commences at 2pm. Every entry ticket purchased will receive automatic entry into the lucky door prize draw. There will be a small presentation about Alinyiikira, and a little bit of background about the Aussie X-Files Fans @ Facebook's charity endeavours.

Tickets are $30 pre-sale online and $40 at the door.

There are very limited numbers remaining, so get in quickly to ensure you can be a part of this, the first of what we hope will be many screening events.

There was an article on the film "Boogie Woogie" and the premiere of the film in the "Evening standard magazine" in April when the movie was premiered. They also asked her three questions, here they are:

What is your favorite work of art?

GA: An Alexis Rock Moon that hangs in our dining room. It's a mix medium Flexiglass that weighs 800 lbs.The Smithsonian American Art Museum asked if they could borrow it.

What attracked you to this part?

GA: Well, it was shot in London and I loved the convenience. And the character really spoke to me. I instantly knew who she was.

How do you feel about the sex scenes?

GA: As long as it's tastefully done, i don't mind. I'm not completely nude. Usually with sex scenes it's all so styled that it's not sexy at all.

To be honest, I don't know how to feel about that. This is certainky not the role I would imagine for her but as long as i see her, i don't care. On the other hand, this is comedy and she is great in comedies.

Oh, I love british comedy! I hope they do this one up well. I think I may even own the first "Johnny English" movie; however, I don't remember anything about it. So, obviously, the first one wasn't memorable.

If Gilly is in it, I want her to have a big role in it. I think she could do this kind of comedy well.

I was reading about the screening of The X-Files: Fight the Future in Australia and it occurred to me that since I don't have blu-ray I don't think I've seen the alternate bee scene. How is it different from the original scene in the movie?
