Well I started off ok, but then life threw me a couple of curve balls, so I'm a bit stressed out and worried now! Did you see on the news today though, all those folks fighting over stuff at Walmart and other places, where is the Christmas spirit in that, I wonder!!

I am trying to help out a local family that lost everything in Hurricane Irene. She has a ton of kids and was on craigslist asking for help. I am so grateful for everything that I have. Sometimes you have to see life through the eyes of others to realize how lucky you really are!

I am apologizing for my absence as of late. I have a new project that I am working on and it is taking all of my free time away from you guys. I have missed you all though and promise to find at least a moment a day to catch up with all my little phile friends.

but also determined to give seasons 8&9 more of a chance than I did the first time!!

I have tried and tried to watched season's 8 and 9. I end up watching the end of season 8 and can't get past the fourth episode of season 9.

Quest - I'm usually the same! I think I could count on one hand the number of those eps I've watched more than once but i'm really gonna try this time! Its not like I don't like the stories or Doggett and Reyes but i'm a shipper through and through and these seasons just don't cut it for me!!

Suggestion.... Approach these seasons as you would a different series, chock full of some great, well written, suspenseful MOTW stories.

Outside of the detour the MSR took, these are great eps. Just stop thinking of the MSR for a couple of weeks. Seasons 8 & 9 are STILL lightyears ahead of most of the crap currently on network TV...

I've had family visiting from out of town for the past few weeks. It was SUCH a delight to see them. I wish that cross-country travel wasn't so expensive because it would be so nice to be able to see them more often. But, we were able to squeeze A LOT into 3 weeks...
