I have started up a petition to send to FOX, please sign it if you want TXF3 in 2012. So far we have 201 signatures in just over a week but we need more to make this count!

Hi guys - thanks for signing !
I double checked the link and for 'good luck' I deleted, then re-added the petition link.
As of 1:29 sat eastern time, total = 576. So either the server is a bid kludgy depending on how each of us accesses it at GoPetition or you all may just want to visit the petition quickly to see if the name you used to "sign" is reflected there.

At this precise moment in time, assuming that the GoPetition Server isn't hiccupping we have a grand total of 636 sigs! And let's remember I'm simply REPORTING the crawl toward 1000 -or even 1011 for fun BY 2011....
But danascully1988 aka Laura Logan got this baby going! She's also been posting YouTube vids as danascully1988 - neat stuff, worth a look!
PLUS DS88's started a "Philles Unite!" event on FB - but she used the alternate (?) spelling of Philes, so even my Dogpile search brings up the Phillies (baseball team in PA) links.

Late breaking newz:  HUGE THANKS TO SALOME for the link to Laura Logan's THE PHILLES UNITE! event (2 L's) which follows... Everyone, let's "attend" and this event file will go to Fox with the Petition in 2011! I finally joined FB just to attend! (And I'm not a joiner....)

Maybe Wednesdays are good recap days? I've been trying to goose the thread title when the petition totals CRAWL upward, but hogging a few tenths of a percent of space via post updates seemed a good way to just maybe get this topic to pop on different search engines...

So today - 12.08.10 - the current petition has captured the interest of 645 Philes! Not bad, but wouldn't 1000 be a more, ah, well rounded number?

So if we have any MAD TECH Philes in our community who know their way around algorithms, please let us know how we can increase our presence in the Search Engine Sphere.  THANKX! cancer]

Today - the start if the last pre-Xmas weekend, our total sigs = * 670 *. Not bad considering the timeframe!
Reaching 700 by the 25th doesn't seem impossible... I Want to Believe (sorry!) that if each of us mentions the petition to 1 person we share a holiday beverage or snack with ... It'll help remind folks to visit GoPetition...

** QUICK UPDATE **
The total count stayed at 678 from 12.21 until today when ONE new signature appeared. I don't mean to sound like a geek but I actually emailed the GoPetition webmaster to make sure their servers were up. The WM wrote back and said with the holidays, people weren't online as much.

So, with less than 1 week left to 2010, "Come On 700!"
I added the Petition's link as my sig, in case that helps....

We're s-l-o-w-l-y making our way toward the 700 mark.... The wheels are turning slowly, & are starting to squeak a bit. We may just need some WD-40... While some signers have elected to remain "anon" (perfectly legit & still adds to the count) - others have gone the creative route. Open the petition link (hint hint...) and check out sigs #690 & 691...

I think Phil Rizzuto (and later Harry Caray) gave us HOLY COW! The petition has increased BY 30 since Sunday! That is a record.

Why Fox All Access won't let me POST THIS ACTUAL FACT on their blog... doesn't exactly endear them to me!

Not that long ago, a certain European Admin of a now defunct site was certain we'd hit this goal by New Years Day...

Maybe we should start a lottery (friendly lottery - no prize except bragging rights) and ask folks to guess when we'll hit 1000 BY...

If nothing else, if we generate enough activity in this thread MAYBE it will cause the Google Algorithm (GoAl for short) to "like us" and show us before the Petition that's been closed 6 months. Argh!

Not sure to what - or whom - we owe a huge thanks to a jaw dropping increase by 39 sigs today , Groundhog Day. So we cleared the 800 hurdle.... And SpecialAgent88 just may be the correct prognosticator as to when we'll reach 1000... We'll see where we are on the 14th!

Would anyone else like to venture a guess? So far only 3 of us have looked into our crystal balls..R

OK if we reach 900 signature's by my birthday! 28th Feb, I Will Sing aa song, post the Video on youtube! LOL i know (silly) but fun,i do sing i've just never sang for anyone but my family! LOL the last few weeks my throats been totaly buggered! i will quit Smoking on my birthday too!! hehehehe since the closure of XFU i've been beavering round posting the petition on every site i can posibly think of! Today there is 879 Signature's! Ive even posted it to Chris Carters new Twitter, if they know its out there then all the better hehehehe So thank you to veryone who's supported this little Baby!! hehehehheehhe We Rock!

As of this post we're at 883.... Your petition was bursting with new sigs with over 40 sigs in a few days, and then NO sigs for days... In the absence of XFiles news during the spikes I was baffled & tried to learn the cause so we could continue the uptick in sigs.

The FB page XFiles 3 in 2012 (Adam Boraso's XF3 page) seems to get good views (5000 members) so maybe commenting there will help.
Let's see if we can hit 900 or MAYBE 1000 for A VERY Happy Birthday to you!
