While getting my daughter ready for school I noticed that she had written ALL OVER her back pack in permanent green marker. I was about to u say something to her when I realized that she had written "I LOVE THE X FILES" About 6xs front and back. I asked her why she had written it on her back pack and she said "I want everyone to know I love it", "oh and don't worry, mom, I wrote that U love Gillian on the inside" :lol:

That made me laugh just reading your post.... According to http://Www.entertainment.gather.com : "The promo (below) focuses on the fact that you can never be too sure of who you’re really talking to online."
So - we'll assume their ftf = the more common face-to-face. Notes online today don't bother explaining the shorthand....

... I don't care if we're talking about the TV media, Print media or both which usually become Internet media (legit or "blog illegit"): "it's all about creating buzz, baby!"

Who knows what the FTF CSI writer was thinking - maybe s/he loved X-Files and was tipping the ole hat, or maybe they assumed Internet savvy parents know FTF in ice age Chat Room speak means "face to face...." As a Phile I assumed it meant something X-Files related...

And for kicks I checked Urban Dictionary. This is a GREAT resource for all those letter-combos! Ready? The "official" slang for FTF is "Friends that f*uck!" :roll:

Unicorn, I hope you didn´t have any eye sight or breathing problems after taking the picture of that "green blod"...

About my cameras: I sometimes use a simple digicam and sometimes a Minolta with manual settings. This was taken with the Minolta.

Great pics Martina, thank u for sharing. Went to have a cream cheese bagel this morning and all we had was lite cream cheese and of course I thought of Bad Blood. There is this little dog that looks exactly like Queequeg down the road from us and he was eating the trash today and it reminded me of the scene from CBFR.

Monka told me that they are experimenting with a new type of corn in Bavaria. She also told me that there was no humming sound inside....lol.

So no bees, no risk for Mulder and Scully to go inside that round "tent", no sting....so they could be kissing passionately later. They should have gone to Bavaria...... :lol:

I walked into the deli and the man that was set to make my sandwich looked just like Holman Heart! What made it even better, was that "Mr. Heart" asked what I thought about all the crazy weather we'd been having. Then he leaned in and said "You don't believe what they say about these kind of winds and earthquakes do you?"

Chills literally went down my spine and I had to run out before a cow fell through the roof!

I check Google News throughout the day and just found this from an Ohio paper... The name, not the event caught my eye:
"ARCHADIA -- Flames and fireballs lit up the night skies and could be seen miles away from Arcadia. A train carrying 28 tanks of ethanol derailed causing a massive explosion that shook the small town."
This was a non-fatal derailment which occurred early Sunday morning 02.06 (pre-dawn). Too bad the reporter couldn't figure out how to spell the town name! (It's the XFiles way: Arcadia!)

I'm driving in local traffic earlier this evening (after sunset, pre-full moon rising) and had a Holy S**t moment.... The wagon ahead of me had what looked like 2 giant X's on either side of the rear window. Just as my (mental) wheels started spinning with thoughts of Mr X.... We passed under street lights: the X's were hockey sticks. So depressing.....
